It took me a while to really get into this one, there were some parts that dragged a bit, but the magical realism (somewhat) makes up for what it's lacking. Hoffman spells out the affluent side of Massachusetts to a tee; I almost felt like I was there... oh wait, I am in Mass, so nevermind. I guess ...
