While well written and vividly characterized, the extreme bullying that drives the plot is hitting a little too close to home. I don't think I'll finish this book.

I'm re-reading these books in news that the series has been picked up for a pilot, and I have a good feeling it will get accepted for a series. I felt it was a great start to the series. I relate to Cassie somewhat in terms of moving to someplace new and trying to get accepted. It's not an easy task...
