Both the plot and the characters couldn't reach the same quality level as "Raven Prince". I liked Simon very much, but Lucy was not so much a hit with me. I liked her fine in the beginning, but when she [spoiler] left Simon because she decided what is right and what is wrong, she lost me. She knew...
4.5* This was a romancangsty book, but sometimes you need the angst instead of the love and laughter. It was also very well written and I just loved the H/h and wanted them to figure things out and get their HEA.
My Rating: 2.5 Having read both The Raven Prince and The Leopard Prince, I can easily say that The Serpent Prince is definitely not my top two favorite books in the Princes trilogy like I was warned. When I found out that Iddesleigh would be the male protagonist of the third book in the series, I seriously doubted that I would like the book. A hero who wears shoes with red heels? And wigs? What's with the powdered wigs fashion on men? No to mention the clothing with gold and silver embroidery......
