Although I still think the first book is the best in the trilogy, this one wasn't bad. Satisfying conclusion to the Kane Chronicles. I don't know if I'll write a full review to this. We'll see. In the mean time, if you wanna hear more about my thoughts on The Serpent's Shadow, feel free to leave a...

This book took me over a month because I just wasn't feeling it. It's also one I listened to with my husband which might have also been an issue as we just didn't have time together to listen to it when I was feeling it. Eh. Anyway as stories go, it was a nice wrap up for the series. I'm surprise...

I'm now reviewing The Serpent's Shadow, which is the third and last book in The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan. I'm so excited to review this book! This is my favorite book in The Kane Chronicles. Apophis is rising faster and causing a lot of trouble. Carter, Sadie, and the rest of the kids at Br...

Fabulous. Riordan tells an amazing story and he keeps the pace up from start to finish. You never really want to put the book down until you're done.

WHAT? THIS IS ONLY A TRILOGY? I definitely want more of Sadie and Carter Kane.

The Serpent's Shadow is classic Rick Riordan; insanely funny and hilariously crazy, smart and clever. Riordan is a MUST author in the realm of the books, and all his books are a delight to read.Seriously, Riordan can do no wrong in my eyes. His books teach of actual mythology in a fun and engaging w...

Good ending to a great series. It was my least favorite of the trilogy, but I still thought it was a good story. Not too many surprises in this book.

A satisfying conclusion to the series, though some of what did happen was telegraphed well in advance. The Kanes have to battle Apophis, save the world and save as much of their friends as they can, while also keeping themselves alive. I understand the framing device but I think it's a bit super...

The Kane Chronicles don't need much of a review. They aren't going to go down in literary history, but all three were fun to read. There are mysteries to solve, good guys to cheer for, bad guys to beat, and plenty of drama along the way.I'd say 5th graders and up would enjoy the series the most. ...

A great conclusion of this series, very exciting. A lot better than second book.
