The Shameless Hour (The Ivy Years Book 4) - Sarina Bowen *4.5 STARS* I have to say from the outset, that I've really enjoyed this series so far. I am really amazed at how much I have come to care for these characters. And, honestly, I didn't think that Sarina Bowen would be able to do anythin...
Bella, the student manager of the Harkness varsity hockey team, loves sex and isn't afraid to say so. She knows that a lot of guys and especially their girlfriends frequently say uncomplimentary things about her behind her back because of her reputation, but Bella isn't ashamed of enjoying sex in al...
I've read all of the Ivy Years books and have enjoyed all of them. And I'm really not a fan of YA. But, these are good. That said, this was my least favorite of them all. I never liked Bella, the heroine. I thought I might warm up to her while reading her story, but I really didn't. I loved Rafael, ...
It wasn't bad. The Spanish really pissed me off. Also, this guy was so atypical for a Dominican man, he was like a yeti. All in all, entertaining and I'm glad they made it work; but still had major issues with Bella's backstory and Rafe's portrayal.

Bella Hall stole my heart when this unapologetic fierce girl first appeared in book three, The Understatement of the Year. Since then...

I loved the way it explores sexual politics and double standards and shame and purity and commitment...
So, when my fellow reviewer Kaethrin reviewed the book at DA, I did a click the moment I saw it, because I loved Sarina Bowen's books that much. As much as I love well done UF with m/f romance on the backburner, there had been three or four writers last year whose m/f *Romance* I enjoyed and Sarina ...
And I bought it. Squeall!
Harkness men’s hockey team manager, Bella Hall, becomes a victim of a fraternity prank. Her soccer player neighbor, Rafe Santiago, helps her through the aftermath. Bella is a great character. She had a wonderful outlook on life and was free spirited. My heart went out to her after what happened at...
