Quoyle restait incapable de saisir l'actualité, n'avait aucun sens du détail. Il avait peur de tout, à l'exception d'une quinzaine de verbes. Avec un instinct fatal pour l'utilisation erronée du passif.

Uwielbiam ten film. Widziałem kilka razy, nawet kupiłem swoją kopię na DVD, która potem zaginęła gdzieś u kogoś, kto pożyczył i nie zwrócił. Didn't like it. Didn't like the characters. Didn't like the pace of the plot. Thought the writing style was contrived.
