For my thoughts on the writing, plot, etc. please see my review here. Another great audiobook by Madelyn Buzzard. I love her choices for the characters' voices as well as how good she is at narrating the battle scenes which I would ordinary and in other books would find boring. One thing I appreci...

I think this was slightly shorter in length than the previous books. However it didn't effect my enjoyment of this read. I was quite pleased with the result of the injury to Honor, which took place in book 2. I liked the plot and the drama in Haven. I'm not sure what will happen in the next book, be...

The third book in the Honor Harrington Series this book keeps up the tradition set by the first two. Although it does have some points where it drops off, it is an all-around good read for fans of serial science fiction. We are back ship-side after having large portions of the last book with Honor...

Strongest of the series so far, to my mind, with great character development and some great battle scenes, including a slam bang ending.

A good book but I didn't like it as much as the previous ones. There was too little Harrington and to much political bla bla.

This book isn't bad, it's a little better than okay. The second book in this series (The Honor of the Queen) looks at a female officer forced to work in a culture where women are second class citzens. In some ways, thi...

This was a very enjoyable book but it felt like half a book, we spend a lot if time on the (admittedly fascinating) political build up only to fizzle at the end, where the climax is wrapped up in no time at all, mostly off screen. Most disappointing was Pavel Young who has been built up a a monster f...

Ok, but I wish Honor got at least one chance to use our new ship on less powerful ships. It gets boring when she keeps getting a new one, only to find that her opponents are always better too.

This is the third book in the Honor Harrington series. The People's Republic of Haven is having a domestic crisis. A staggering number of its population is on the dole. The President and his cabinet need to put down civil unrest. Their old tried and true way of doing this is to invade economically...
