For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleAn interesting combination of classic fairy tales. Overall, I enjoyed it.As with everything Gaiman writes, this is a very unique story. I loved the play on the original fairy tales and how creatively he combined them. I also liked how references were m...

Neil Gaiman re-imagining the story of Sleeping beauty. Fun read. A bit unexpected. The queen is now going into the wood and try to find out what's happened to the people and sleeping beauty. She found an old woman there. Who is she and why is she not under the same spell? Nice way to ret...

The retelling is clever and funny and the art is engaging and a little old-fashioned feeling, but in a good way. Loved it. Library copy

I only wanted this book because of the beautiful illustrations. A twist on Snow White and Sleeping Beauty; the story was pretty mediocre.

A beautifully written and quaintly illustrated retelling (sort of) of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. The story telling is delightful and the tale has several unusual and surprising twists. This book can be enjoyed by children and adults and I suspect the author wrote it with parents reading to th...
