Watched the movie on a cruise ship some time ago. Frustrated by Lopez's alternately excessive and pathetic expectations of Nathaniel, and his unwillingness to truly connect with the person, not the front page story.
For some reason, I'm not in love with this book. In many ways, the book is more about Lopez than about Ayers (and Lopez is a good guy), and this is a problem because Ayers stays two-dimensional.
