I enjoyed the short story. I loved the conversations between Bill and Eric. The rest was just filler and not remarkable.

I read the novella, of course, which was pretty good, maybe the best Sookie short I've read so far, since it felt like it really fit in with the rest of the books and helps illustrate where things are going with Sam.
