Quick review for a quick read. I'll admit that Deb Caletti seems to draw me into her stories because her characters always feel very vivid and draw me in whenever I pick up a book by her. "The Story of Us" was a good read, if a bit convoluted in terms of the narration. In parts it worked, in others ...
I love me a good love story. But this story I felt hard to connect too. I couldn’t quite grasp Cricket or her way of thinking. Plot: This is about a girl named Cricket who is trying to figure out what love is. She is unsure what love is or unsure if she could love someone. Being hurt in her past, ...
I give this more of a 2.5 rating. There was so much happening, but so little actually happened. I don't even know if I want to take the time to review this!
*Publisher Provided a free copy in exchange for an honest review*Mhmm....I liked Jupiter most. Cricket was so confused.....I felt bad for Janssen. I wish I got more background (before the letters) on them.I just don't know. The way this book was written irritates me. The characters felt hollow. The E...

On the other hand, there are aspects of this novel that ...

I found it to be fairly boring and much more of an introspective story than having a solid plot. I read roughly the first 100 pages and then gave up and skipped to the end to see if that would e...
