I picked this up because I read a review of the 2nd in this series, and saw that it was set in Edinburgh and might be supernatural in some aspects. This 1st installment is a squabbling buddy cop horror/comedy set in the time of Jack the Ripper, and our protagonist actually hates Scotland and Scottis...
