Sadly, I have to DNF this, as I lost all hope to be able to continue. It's a collection of fanfics instead of chapters. There is no plot, no rhyme or reason and way too much genealogy (fictional, at that). I had to print out every possible Arthurian character in order to follow the book. NOT fun. ...

Oi! I’m sure my UK based friends will snort at this confession, but the scones and English Breakfast tea that I had bought especially for a dreary November afternoon on the sofa with The Student Prince, made reading this truly and thoroughly British book an even more dorktastic experience. Repeat af...

And the bacon rolls. Where can I get bacon rolls? I actually took my time reading this (on my kindle – thank you dear author). I am amazed this is a free book. Seriously. So, there’s a little bit of insta love going on, but the guys really do work from roommates, to friends, to significant others. S...

I am dropping this book at 40% in.There is no plot in sight. Editorials and typos are plaguing the book. The story is dragging and I feel like I am caught in a never-ending fanfic nightmare. Is there a point to all of this lust-galore? I have to constantly consult a chart on every Arthurian characte...

This book was SO MUCH FUN! With its witty humor, completely charming characters, and Harry Potter references I was in love. Fast. Merlin is a young wizard who is on his way to the very secretive School of Sorcery. On his was he becomes friends with Gwen. As Gwen and Merlin are getting acquainted wit...

Incredibly well written, I am amazed that this is unpublished. While it might be considered "fanfic", how the author uses the characters to create an entirely new environment is brilliant!I completely recommend this book. It is now on my favorites list!

Nice humor but I'm disappointed by style and plot. The dialogues go on forever and, to me, they seem phony. Arthur and Merlin often speak and think like two girls. The magic is not an integral part of the story, but merely a means pulled out as the need arises to prevent the various attacks on the p...
there's more to life than reading books
Loved it! With influences from Merlin and Harry Potter, British humour, the royal family, a hot prince, secret relationships, O Week shenanigans - you can't go wrong! A fun, crazy, hilarious and a wee bit sweet read.

4.5 stars Just Bloody Brilliant! (I'm still speaking with a British accent inside my head, it's just too fun!) This was sweet and funny and original and clever and just fuckin' great. And it's FREE! My only complaint is that the magic potion wasn't constant/consistent throughout. It started ou...
