A good suspense story with a very intense beginning. The plot got complex but didn't make much progress in solving the main problem. The little romance it had was rather abrupt. Judge Ramsey rescues a little girl who has been badly beaten then he is discovered by her mother Molly.

I fell in love with this story. While Savich and Sherlock didn't have a major presence in this installment, the main characters more than adequately filled that space. The one thing that kept this from being 5 stars is the fact that I don't think the hero ever actually told the heroine that he loved her... If he did, I missed it :(

Another great book by Ms. Coulter. Not quite as entertaining as "The Cove" or "The Maze" but still very enjoyable. The only thing that irritates me about these books is that people fall in love like the first week they know each other. I mean what is that?
