As with book one, this one needs a thorough proofreading. But I liked the story. I'm a bit on the fence on whether the length of the story is enough. It is and I feel the stories are complete, yet at the same time, I wish there was just a bit more. Again, the insta-love in this series is a bit chees...
I love a good number of themes in my romance and this book has a favorite of mine: damaged hero a la PTSD abuse survivor Luke. For less than 100 pages I know not to expect major depth but this story is pretty solid.It delivered enough FEELS without making me curl up in a ball, begging for hugs like ...
I have a feeling things aren't over for these two, they have some serious issues to sort out.The book had a few errors that hadn't been caught by the proof readers and at least one instance where names got switched.Plan to buy book three once my self imposed book buying embargo is over.
Apart from the book finishing at the 85% mark in the ebook version (which is really disappointing when you think you have a bit more to enjoy), I really liked the story. This series just has a real feel-good vibe about it. All the characters are lovely and there is a happy ending - very easy reading...
