by Jane Rogers
I think Dorothy Parker best describes my reaction to this novel:This is not a book to be put aside lightly. It should be thrown across the room with great force. And that's only at the halfway mark.
Part of the Dangerous Visions seriesThe Testament of Jessie Lamb BBC BLURB: Jane Rogers dramatises her award winning novel. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how I feel about this book... Review to come.
The Testament of Jessie Lamb by Jane Rogers is modern fiction with a apocalyptic premise; it is the tale of a teenage girl faced with a dying world and a great desire to do some now to help make sure there is a future, but her parents just aren’t ready to let her grow up.
