Continuing the story....I find I am enjoying them more when I am reading them in order by author name, rather than reading them in chronological order. Of course, having read the whole of the Dreamlight series first, I'm utterly out-of-order. Enjoying them a lot, though.
Okay, so these books are Victorian, not Regency. I'm going to abandon all my history training and say -- close enough. It feels like Regency romance novel conventions are in play.
