It's not everyday you find yourself in combat with a half-lion, half-human. But when you're the son of a Greek god, it happens. And now my friend Annabeth is missing, a goddess is in chains and only five half-blood heroes can join the quest to defeat the doomsday monster. Oh, and guess what? The Ora...

Wow, I forgot basically everything that happens in this series, but the rereading was great because it was almost like reading it for the first time. I enjoyed this one so much. It's probably my favorite this time around. I love the Hunters, and the story really starts ramping up. I love all thes...

After re-reading the first two books in the series, I’m finally getting to the books I missed. New material! Yay! I don’t feel the need to review this one in depth, so I’ll just say a few things: I am still really enjoying this series, its problematic elements notwithstanding. And I think it hold...

*4.5 starsI really enjoyed this book. And it also introduced two of my favorite minor characters in this series Nico and Apollo. This series just keeps getting better and better by every book.

I liked reading about Artemis and her Huntresses. That was interesting. Nico and Bianca's history was interesting as well. Aside from that, my response is the same as with the others: enjoyable, but not something i'm likely to re-read. *Review written on July 27, 2014.*

I'm not saying that nothing happened or that the writing style drastically changed. A lot, actually, happened. And I still enjoy Percy a...

Ooh, shit got real in this one! So far, I think this is the best book in the Percy Jackson series that I have read. As always, I will discuss characters first. Percy is likable as always. I'm disappointed there wasn't more of Annabeth. Thalia and Zoe and Bianca were all really excellent characters...
