I was more enamored with the first one, I think. This was still quite good, but possibly too much "more of the same" and not enough really great individual scenes. Probably will still pick up the third book at some point.

Lady Trent discovers more about dragons in a space not unlike a mix of Africa and the Amazon. She also learns a lot more about her limits and about not bowing to others to get ahead.
The book was a solid 3-star book but LADY TRENT IS THE BEST AND SHE DESERVES THE EXTRA STAR!
