Finished final novella in this collection, Out with a Fang by Jessica Sims. I liked the writing well enough, but I think I was handicapped by not being familiar with the series/universe set in. There's clearly more needed to flesh out the tale. Not rating but I liked well enough to check ou...

Finished the second of three novellas in this collection, Undead Sublet by Molly Harper set in her Half-Moon Hollows series/universe. Which is a favorite with me and usually a real hoot. This one was no exception; funny, invested in the heroine immediately, ★★★★½ . Not anything pivotal to seri...

Finished first story/novella in this omnibus — Shades of Gray by Katie MacAlister — and I enjoyed it well enough (beach read?). Between a 2½ and 3 star read for me. It's set in her Dark Ones universe wth expected elements. Meaning usually what can border on too much insta-lust and fated-mate...

This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life.4 Stars!I really enjoyed this audible short story. I thought it was quite funny and had a lot of fun with it. I received this short story as a free audible download quite some time ago and just never got around to listening to it. I am trying...

I've now listened to Molly Harper's story and read Jessica Sims' story in this anthology. Both good. When/if I get around to reading Katie MacAlister's Dark Ones series I'll check it out again from the library.

I started reading this book and I thought, I remember this first story. Must have read it as a stand alone. Then I went to the next, read that one too. In fact I've read all three. I'm wondering if this anthology had a different title previously. I liked all three stories.

Shades of Gray - Katie MacAlister - I did not enjoy this story very much. You really need to have read other books in the series to understand this one. The switching between third-person and the hero's point of view was confusing. The male POV parts were limited, like I was viewing the situation th...

Check out my other listens at Eargasms Audiobook ReviewsAnother great example of why I go all fangirl on Molly Harper!! Exactly what you expect from a Half Moon Hollow read. Funny, quirky and entertaining! Tess is hysterical and poor Sam has no chance against her foul mouthed charm! As always Jane an...

I would rate this a pretty solid 3. There are no duds; just a couple I do not feel inclined to follow (assuming they're part of a series, that is).Shades of Grey - ok, aside from the rather blatant title, this had little to do with the popular fanfic. Noelle, who has been floating around like a lo...
