As Writers, we are always writing, therefore, never really finished. These collections of short stories are just a pinch from a stack of short stories I have written and since this is my first go at publishing, I thought I'd start with a few memoirs (short pieces on my writing life) and a few short stories. Even throwing in a few pieces of flash fiction (500 words or less). "the unfinished writer" claims to show progress along with growth in my writing. Some of the short stories found themselves as short stories by my own editor's hand. So, my goal really was to end them where another chapter might actually begin.
