I wanted to like this, but I just couldn’t see the point. Towards the end I was hoping for another kind of twist that would have included schizophrenia or some other psychological explanation. The third person limited narrative was one of the few highlights.
This wasn't exactly what I was expecting, which was a typical vampire romance as the vampire was the bad guy in this story. The story focused more on the development of the relationship between the 2 lead characters and the vampire part was almost incidental. It was a good quick read.
