The end made me want to get the next one but the overall feeling from this was meh. Lots of politics, lots of background of the vampires, but really I didn't get drawn in and really think this may be the last of the series that I read, at least for a while. Told from the point of view of a few of ...

I forgot just how much comes to light in this book. My heart actually aches for Mimi. She allows some of her walls to come down. And poor Bliss. She has to try so hard to be present in her own body. This is now my favorite so far. We have so many questions answered, even as we have more that have n...

Posted on my blog:: Check it out.The Book Twins | YA & Adult reviews I'd say it was this book where a new ARC for this story started to form. This book was fantastic. I couldn't put it down once I picked it up. Melissa de la Cruz has the most amazing imagination I was awestruck. The twists & turns that Schuyler makes & all the back stories of the characters! Amazing all the detail & creativeness. I loved this book more than the last one. ...

3.5 stars. The first half was sloooow, but the second half was pretty crazy and entertaining. I definitely like the lore and explanations for why the characters are they way they are. It feels different from the normal take on vampires.

3.5 This book is broken into small chapters each covering a different set of characters, sometime the shift was rough and hard to get into. I found myself getting mad because the story I was most interested in keep shifting to another. It was three books in one, each story too short for me. The indiv...

So, this book kind of annoyed me because it seemed like nothing happened. I felt like it was one giant plot exposition to carry from one exciting book to the next. At least, hopefully the next will be exciting.

Ok, I finished all four of the Blue Bloods books in 6 days... so that says something. However, the fourth book, The Van Alen Legacy, is a very different book from the rest of the series. It deviates from the established formula set up for the Blue Bloods. In every book the storyline follows three nar...
