The first half of the book was as depressing as it could get. The second half was finished in quite a rush imo. All in all I rate it 2.75 stars 1.75 for Max and Tornadoes ;)and 1 for the message the book is trying to pass on.
I can see similarities between this and the movie Twister, which isn't a bad thing. The only problem I really had with it was it was much too short. A bit of the story was rushed where Jane came to terms with her mother's addiction. And I would have liked to see a bit more of the storm chasing seaso...
I received this through good reads giveaways.The first 150 pages were a little repetative, but the book picked up and went really fast after that. I could see people I knew in some of the characters.
