I liked the story but there were too many characters to remember and when I finally had some kind of a system, the story was over. I can't put my finger on it, but there was also something missing from this story.
We spend a lot of time with secondary characters (mostly Mac & Gina - the focus of the next story in this series) and it took damn near forever to get into Sarah's story, but once the ball got rolling, it was a very enjoyable read. I would have given this a higher rating if, instead of dealing with ...
OMG! She did it! How, I don't know, but she did. Author Robyn Carr has created a series that's as good as Virgin River! Thunder Point is awesome! I've read the first 5 books so far...I only stopped there because book 6 isn't in print yet! You start out meeting Hank Cooper "Coop" and then you meet De...
I was of two minds when I started this series by Robyn Carr.First, that I would end up being disappointed since the Virgin River series that Ms. Carr started ended up going from must read books for me to eventually just going through the motions books. I didn't engage with any characters and I start...
I was a little disappointed that Carr is not longer going to be writing the Virgin River books. I'm not completely sure that Thunder Point is going to be a good replacement or not. I liked it, but I already knew almost everyone in Virgin River and it's a little strange to read a book by Carr and not...
The Wanderer is the first in a new series. It is supposed to be an off shoot of Ms. Carr's Virgin River Series. I haven't read any of those books yet, but I didn't feel like I needed to in order to enjoy this book. The book is a great first book in a series. Ms. Carr has woven a tale not just ab...
3.5/5; 4 stars; B+Thunder Point is a new series by one of my favorite writers of 'small town life' stories. My main reason for pushing this up my TBR was that I'm going to Oregon soon and wanted to get my mind out to the ocean. The Wanderer was a good story of people finding their way past variou...
I loved this book. the setting. the town. the people. It was just a great mix. I love how they brought in real life problems like bullying, single parents struggling to make ends meet, love real love thats believeable and strong females. This is a great read I def can wait for more of this series
I liked this story but the first half of the book was all about setting up the situation with no romance. The hero didn't even meet the heroine until almost midway into the story. The secondary romance was nice. Wanderer Copper goes the Thunder Point to investigate the death of a friend when he n...
