Perhaps this is better if you actually watch the play, but reading it... It is witty, but the plot is too convoluted and the characters' names don't help when it comes to keeping who is who clear, much less who is doing what (or usually whom).

Read for exams. Millamant and Mirabel.
It took me making my own relationships chart, with lots of arrows, to get a handle on the characters, but finally I was satisfied that I "got it." I didn't exactly like it, but it was better than OK.
