3.5 starsThe Wedding was great but The Bride was (a lot) better. I can't help but compare this book to the first one. I love that the author creates such amazing, strong heroines!Brenna was not as lovable as Jamie had been in The Bride. Brenna was strong and independent, too but her actions were les...

3.5 starsI have no idea what the author was trying to achieve by showing the heroine like a naive sputtering fool.she wasn't sweet, she was stupid and annoying. I know I've given this high rating and I really liked the overall story but the not the way that character was!

My experience this time (12+ years later) is just a taaad different. Julie Garwood is a great romance writer, one of the ...

This didn't get interesting until Alec and Jamie showed up in the middle and there was suddenly a conflict with Connor's step-mother and step-brother.
