Didn't like the ending, but as a fellow Canadian expat, I found the northern references hilarious, as only another Canadian can appreciate.

I enjoyed this book - but the ending wasn't up to par for me. I felt like it was an okay ending - but I wanted her husband to come back and see how she'd transformed and made a new way for herself. Just felt like I was waiting for something that never came. But overall it was an enjoyable read.
