I flew through the first half of this book and then seemed to get stalled. This book isn't quite like the first two. But then I picked it up again and finished it in one long day. By immersing myself in it, I got involved with it again. This book had to bring all the loose ends together and tie them...

1.5 stars*sigh* I really loved The Tea Rose and liked the follow-up, The Winter Rose. But The Wild Rose? Oy, it has many issues, many of which unfortunately are caused by its predecessors. Such as each book featuring someone first marrying the wrong person (or almost doing so), but have no fear! The...

A huge book, this end to the roses trilogy does not disappoint. While I would suggest that readers should read The Tea Rose and The Winter Rose first, this book was a rolicking ride through history with close scrapes and epic romance.

Was a good read, but I just could not get into it like I did The Tea Rose. As I was reading it, all I could think is: "I wish this book and series would just end". Willa's problems with her leg did not seem believable with the time period. Her drug addiction, opiates are highly addictive, never af...

** The Wild Rose is the 3rd book in the Tea Rose Trilogy. There are slight spoilers for the previous two books in this review**The Wild Rose continues on with the story of Willa Alden and Seamus Finnegan. By the end of The Winter Rose, Seamus and Willa have gone separate ways. Willa is bitter at ha...

The Wild Rose is the third book in Jennifer Donnelly's Rose trilogy, and while it can be read independently of the other two, it will be best appreciated if the reader has read the other two novels in the series, The Tea Rose and The Winter Rose, first. As these two books are among my absolute favou...

Ok, so I read The Tea Rose, which is the first book in the series about 8 to 9 years ago I think. Let's just say it's been awhile and that it was in the era before I discovered Goodreads. And my mind is a little fuzzy on what I thought of it exactly, except that I liked it, enjoyed reading it. I did...

Sadly not as good as the first two in the series. I was so excited to see this finally come out but it was just too long, drawn out and a little far fetched.

Wow...how depressing...I can't believe I am giving this only two stars. I have been waiting for this book to come out and was INCREDIBLY excited to see it on NetGalley and even more priveledged that I was allowed to read an ARC. On that note, this isn't Jennifer Donnelly's finest work. Her other boo...

Originally reviewed at The Brazen Bookworm.Whether she’s writing for young adults or a general audience, Jennifer Donnelly has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her most recent YA book, Revolution, is one of the best books I’ve read in 2011 (my review) and the first two books in The Rose T...
