This was surprising read for me. Surprising because it's not really my normal fare and surprising because I quite enjoyed the read. I bought this book when author Chuck Wendig mentioned it in a tweet a few months ago and it ended up either being a 99¢ deal or a freebie. I figured what the hell.....

"The Wolf's Hour" was a surprising and memorable read. This is not modern urban fantasy, with hip, kick-ass characters, struggling against their wolf nature while trying to save the world from demons in just three days. This is a book with the self-confidence to save the world over several month...

Werewolf, action, adventure - all set during the second world war. Join our British hero as he goes into Nazi Germany, where he will fight for his life whilst trying to help England win the war. If Jason Bourne and rabid Lassie had a love child on the set of The Dirty Dozen directed by John Woo, this is what you’d get. Nazi’s make me fucking sick. I can’t believe that this kind of shit went down not all that long ago. Anytime a Nazi piece of shit gets killed I can’t help but want to stand u...

It wasn't perfect but I couldn't stop listening. I was ready for it to end when it did but I mostly loved the whole book.

Fun pulp novel about a secret werewolf spy during the second world war. It has two plotlines one set during the world war and the other during the protagnist's childhood. Though both were great the latter was more interesting and thought provoking.

What if one of the Allies' greatest spies during WWII was a werewolf? The Wolf's Hour is the story of Michael Gallatin, born Mikhail Gallatinov. His journey is sprawling and meaty, full of intense moments, both emotional and physical. Although I am not sure this technically counts as an epic, it ...
