This started out great and then it got d-u-l-l. The rake became toothless, not reformed!

Sweet story. Not much drama. Rake has to marry girl he compromised. Will they fall in love? Guess.

2nd in the series, "Then Comes Seduction" is Katherine's story. Katherine is the youngest girl and a few years older than Stephen. She's the golden beauty in the family -- the dreamer and the romantic.Jasper is the villain... or is he? In a drunken revelry on his 25th birthday, Jasper's friends make...

The wager was offensive, never addressed very well and suddenly dismissed by too quickly to move the story along. I still found it hard to believe that Katherine would ever under any circumstances speak to him again. The book never recovered from the terrible start. This book was as bad as First Com...

This isn't exactly a review, but I just wanted to say that I loved this book as much as--if not more than--the first book in the series. Can't wait to read the third.

This one reminded me of Liz Carlyle's The Devil You Know, not so much because of the storyline, although there is a similarity there as well (marriage of convenience between a rakehell and a proper heroine), but mainly because of the atmosphere and style. In both books the hero is apparently a happy...

Book two in the Huxatable series. I'm of very mixed feelings about this series. This time, it's a rake, Baron Montford and a reputable miss, Katherine, who fall in love. Ok, with some entertaining bits. But not one that I will be reading again any time soon. For the longer review, please go here:htt...
