The perfect way to relax? Let Chet give you a dog's eye view of him and Bernie cracking a case involving murder, abduction, hippies, sheriffs and showdogs in the California desert. I first met Chet and Bernie, the dog and human team that make up The Little Detective Agency, in 'Dog On it'. I ha...

An entertaining and often amusing detective novel involving kidnapping or maybe dog-napping, murder, mayhem and a fluffy little show-dog. The story is told from the perspective of Chet, the dog half of the Chet and Bernie detective agency. Chet reminds me of a little kid with ADHD on too much suga...

As usual Bernie & Chet are in the thick of things. This time they're investigating the kidnapping of a show dog. The 2nd in the series told from Chet (the dog's) perspective are always good for a chuckle.

Didn't like this one nearly as much as the first one. Had been in The Pile for some time and I guess I could have left it there awhile longer. The story didn't hold my interest like the first one did, and some of the stuff with Chet got so repetitive. Have the 3rd one, but won't hurry to read it.

Second book in a series about detective team Bernie Little and his dog Chet. Story is told from Chet's perspective. Chet is easily distracted by snacks, other animals, naps, and words he doesn't understand.

This second in the “Chet” series is another romp through a kidnapping with the Little Detective Agency. The twist is that this time the victim is a dog. As usual, Chet is the narrator. These are fun books and always leave enough of a bone (pun fully intended) to make me want to read the next book. ...

I wish I could find a picture to post of the cover as it is a great picture of Chet's silhouette. I loved this one as much as the first in the series. Chet and Bernie have another adventure while looking for a kidnapped championship dog and her owner. Of course, it alls goes wrong and Chet saves the...
