I hated this book. If I could just abandon a book after I've read a little bit of it this would be one of those books. This story was unrealistic and it was predictable. The characters were one dimensional. I felt like I was reading a book and not there secretly watching the people going about the...

Wow, a very good book. I was a bit thrown off by so many points of view there are four. However they all come together in the end. At one point towards the end of the book I had to set it down and walk away I was so worried about what was to happen. That is the mark of wonderful writing. I was ...

This book is simply terrible. The characters are flat, the plot/premise is like a Lifetime movie in the worst possible way and the story is rather far-fetched. The premise of the book is that our main character became pregnant, with TWINS, and does not know about it until she is 7 months pregnant. S...

I love how the author developed the story slowly. Letting the reader form a relationship with each character. The writing style of this author offers the reader a way to ask questions and have those questions answered.

Everyone has secrets. This book is full of them. The story centers around the events of one stormy July night 5 years prior....Allison is an over-achiever. She is perfect, or so everyone believes. But noone is really perfect are they? This appears to be proven when Allison secretly gives birth to a ...

This is another Audible gem. They were having a "Buy One, Get One" sale, and These Things Hidden was my "Get One" book, chosen on a whim. But for that sale, I probably never would have read this. (I've been kind of unofficially avoiding YA lately, being sick of the love triangles and the YAPNR and t...

I kept thinking while reading this book that I was reading a book I'd already read. I had the plot figured out too quick for my taste, however I enjoyed the book and the writing. I wish I could figure out which book I've read that is very similar to this one, but I can't seem to think of it.

A handful of lives are intertwined in this story but the pieces don’t all fall into place until you are totally absorbed in the story that you have the a-ha moments that put all the players into their respected places and then the reader can’t wait to finish the book. Sixteen year-old Allison had e...

I enjoy this authors prose, the way she tells her stories from several different POV's. This novel follows 4 very different women through a journey of secrets kept and revealed, all of them connected in a way that crashes into them. The characters are relatable. They could be anyone... someone you k...
