This should probably be the dystopia classic, it's a lot more gripping than 1984. Plus, there's something more disturbing about being content with your dystopia instead of fearing it--like it is here and in Brave New World. They have a lot of similarities, but the plot overall is entirely different....
If you liked 1984, then you will love this. That's all you need to know, really!

This is a true dystopian. It follows (somewhat) along the lines of 1984, eg. the Government is controlling your life, they know where you are and what you're doing pretty much 24-7, etc. This one is a bit more realistic. In this case everyone is being controlled by drugs. Drugs to keep you calm...
