Thomas H. Stanton is a Fellow of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies at Johns Hopkins University and a former member of the federal Senior Executive Service. He serves on the board of the Association of Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM) and is a past director of the National Academy of Public Administration. Mr. Stanton's B.A. degree is from the University of California at Davis, M.A. from Yale University, and J.D. from the Harvard Law School. He is fluent in German and has conducted research in several countries. He edited two books on government organization and management and has written several other books, including two on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and similar financial firms.
