Thirteen Moons on Turtles Back contains poems about each month in the Native American calendar. Each poem is based on the culture and legends of different tribes.The poems are really good, wonderfully written and the pictures are very nice. I liked this book of poetry.
The poems in this book are wonderful and I think really show that there is much more to see than we really like to believe. These poems show the beauty of nature and the sky.
