Thomas M. Campbell II, MD is co-founder and clinical director of the University of Rochester Program for Nutrition in Medicine (URNutritionInMedicine.com), where he sees individuals and groups to work on diet and lifestyle approaches to health. A board certified family physician, Dr. Campbell is also medical director of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies (nutritionstudies.org), a nonprofit organization in Ithaca, NY, which promotes optimal nutrition through science-based education, advocacy, and research in partnership with eCornell, Cornell University's online course provider. A graduate of Cornell University, Thomas, with his father T. Colin Campbell, PhD, co-authored the international bestseller "The China Study, The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and The Startling Implications for Diet, Weight-Loss, and Long-Term Health". Dr. Campbell got his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Rochester, Highland Hospital. He is a eight-time marathon finisher.
