The author Thomas R. Skidmore, in his own words:"Well, truth be told, I've always had a desire to be a successful creator since I was a kid. I grew up soaking in all the '70s and '80s pop culture, but for my money the '70s were better. As far as my writing influences go, there's an awful lot. My influences include Robert E. Howard, J.R.R. Tolkien, Alan Moore, Michael Moorcock, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Arthur C. Clarke, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Isaac Asimov, Quinn Martin, and nowadays the old '70s record album/tv show Rock Follies. "I have to admit it's been a bit of a struggle to get my works out to the SF-reading community, but I wouldn't want to be doing anything else in my life now, would I?"
