This is Wilbur Smith at his best .Adventure with unlikely participantsI started this on Wednesday and finished it last night(Thursday) just before midnight.It is a bit gory in parts but that is the nature of the topic.It is a riveting easy read,a pleasant interlude between heavier tomes.
