Hello! I'm new to Booklikes, and moved over here because List of Bests is closing down and that was where I recorded my books read every year. In 2013, I was able to read 216 books, and 197 in 2012, but this year has been busier with work so I'm currently aiming to read 150. As of today, I have finished 98 books toward my goal! You can see my list of books from this year by visiting my 2014 shelf, since I have my shelves set up by year. Unfortunately, my lists from 2007-2010 were lost, but I still have my books from 2011+.
I saw some discussions for people aiming for 50 or 100 books... is there anyone aiming for 150?
Thank you! I did find that a couple of days ago and added it to my page. I'll probably bump my reading challenge up to 200, but that is going to depend on work and if I get stuck on mandatory OT or not. I'm also working on writing a book of short stories, so that cuts into my reading & reviewing time a little. ^_^
Great idea!!! I'm actually aiming for 100 books this year, but hopefully I'll get around to 150 books if I have enough time!
I'm up to 118 books read, 2 short stories written, and too many migraines to think about. But I'm working on it!
