It's a sub culture that is interested anthropomorphic animals (Animals with human characteristics) It's an amazing community full of accepting and wonderful people. I've been apart of this fandom for about 2 years now and know quite a few people since joining! It's amazing and great experience.

It's an artistic community that lets you express yourself! People can make their own Fursona (an animal that represents you), a lot people have costumes called Fursuits, which is a piece of art in it self. There are plenty of conventions that are furry centered as well, such as Anthrocon one of the biggest in the USA (Pittsburgh, PA).
