I think it would be cool to find a way to meet readers and writers. Although I personally for whatever reason fear promotion. But just to meet people?

Hi Sarah. I understand completely. It feels odd to do the promoting. On the other hand, I thought it would be nice for writers to have somewhere to do that if they chose to do so. Hopefully, we can do a little of both here--meeting people and promoting. Thank you so much for joining!

Would Science Fantasy fit here? I don't mean Star Wars, but Genre to Genre juxtapositions. Although Star Wars is one well liked Science Fantasy.

Excellent! So remind me, do you write, as well? Are you on both BookLikes and GoodReads? Do you review? Blog? What are your favorite fantasy sub genres?

For my part, I read and write epic fantasy. I like a good dark coffee when I am doing either. And chocolate. Lots of chocolate.

I do a fair number of reviews. Also,I like to interview other authors and post on my website and blog. You?

I am curious--do the group members want to do a book selection and read of the month each month? Or even more than one book per mont? Let me know and if so, I'll start a thread for people to recommend things so as to get the ball rolling. . . .
