I read the book, Lorna. I liked the ending - very unexpected and a bit depressing like real life, lol.

That's one thing I noticed about all Jeremy Bates's books. He gives them a weird ending. The most twisted was in the story Rewind a short story (89 pages) A big surprise ending I would have never guessed. I like how he thinks out of the box.
