If someone is looking for some books with Jewish characters for the Hannukah square:

Shira Glassman - Knit One Girl Two
Rose Lerner - True Pretenses & All or Nothing

All are romances I enjoyed (Glassman wrote a lot more but I only read this one). And KJ Charles' Think of England is another historical/mystery/romance featuring a Jewish Character. I haven't read it yet but I've enjoyed everything by her so far. Including An Unseen Attraction which I'm currently reading for the Winter Solstice square (night time cover)
If anyone is having a hard time with Squares 4 Thanksgiving Day (Books with a theme of coming together to help a community or family in need), Square 7 International Human Rights Day (any story revolving around the rights of others either being defended or abused) or Square 12 (read any work of science fiction that takes place in space), I highly recommend the book I just finished, Fuzzy Nation. Especially recommend the audio performance by Wil Wheaton.
I finished posting all my suggestions for the squares and added an index post with links to all the square suggestions.
If someone really wants to read a book involving elephants for Square 10 Pancha Ganapati, may I suggest the SF book Blue Remembered Earth by Alastair Reynolds? The audiobook is also read by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith for those who are familiar with him.
