Great God Pan is one of the iconic works in 20th century horror and Machen's masterpiece, although I'm fond of The White People and The Three Impostors as well.
I DL-ed The White People, but haven't read it yet. Will also look for The Three Imposters.
Tartarus Press has some nice e-books of their more expensive hard covers of Arthur Machen's works. You can buy directly from them and get a device free copy and avoid the evil Amazon.

Thanks!
I just reread The Great God Pan and have to admit that I had forgotten parts of it and confounded it with parts of The White People. I was reminded this time of how close to Lovecraft some of Machen's themes were, particularly in this story. Their mythos are different but the same sort of cosmic horror just beyond the veil is evident here.

The Three Imposters is sometimes a little harder to find although I think. Use Inkmesh and you'll find a free one immediately. Sometimes two of the parts of the Three Imposters are presented in a slightly different form as stand alone stories: The Novel of the White Powder and The Novel of the Black Seal. I prefer the collection of all three together along with the backstory as the full novel.
Thanks!
