I see the cover for Flesh Cartel. I read the first volume of the series, via NetGalley (I have the book shelved, so those wishing can view my review and rating). I will say this was new to me; I have read some M/M stuff, but online and rather forgettable. While the book (at least at this point in the series) can be relentless in its violence, one has to give credit where due as I did enjoy the writing overall, thought it was well written. Others who have read this? Other titles in the vein they would recommend?
I can't say I enjoyed the Flesh Cartel, so please take my advice with a grain of salt.
Personally I much preferred "The Humiliator" ( http://www.nifty.org/nifty/gay/authoritarian/humiliator/ ). However, this one is a couple of steps heftier than Flesh Cartel. And much better written, in my opinion. It does contain extreme D/s and S&M, and unlike the Flesh Cartel it is consensual, but packs far more punch. There's no fluff to it at all.
I don't check these groups as much as I (probably) could or should, but saw the reply. I am curious now, so will likely check out the link. I am always curious about new things.
And yes, have read a few things in Nifty (with mixed results).
