So Shelfari used to have this feature wherein it would suggest you should follow people based on the concept that you both had shelved the same books. I liked it. Can we get it over here?
Yes I'd also like to be able to search for people to follow based on not only how many books we have in common, but also by how similarly we rated the books we have in common.
Sorry, but how do we look for people with common books?
We can't yet. That is what we are asking them to do.

Ha ha. I like the "excluding these sorts of books one should be embarrassed to have placed on one's shelf" button.
Thank you for this suggestion, we'll surely take a look at this feature. Now you can search BL Community on Explore page ([url="URL"]http://booklikes.com/explore[/url]) where blogs are presented in accordance to categories matching books reviewed on this blog and reading preferences of blog's author.
Thanks for considering the suggestion. Searching the community on the Explore page unfortunately isn't very useful right now. Some genres can be very big and varied. You can have two people who enjoy sci-fi and/or fantasy but have wildly different tastes and have absolutely no books in common, so searching by similar books(and how similarly you rated those books) is really important.
