To keep from having too many cluttering "hello, I am..." threads, I figured we would have one main one where people could post greeting / introductions and welcome each other!

Feel free to tell a bit about yourself and what your favorite genres are (feel free to include more than the YA / Fantasy genre as I am sure that is not the only genres that we like!).

I will start!

I am Jessica but feel free to call me Jessi. I am 24 - ancient right? Some of my favorite authors are Maria V. Snyder, Kristin Cashore, Alex Lidell, Rae Carson, T. L. Shreffler, and Tamora Pierce. On top of the YA / Fantasy, I love for my books to have some sort of romance, it can be light just so long as it exists.

I am what you would call a book snob. I cannot get into books with male hero's usually, nor can I get into books written by males in the female POV usually. There are always exceptions to the rule. I LOVES the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. But usually the males just mess up a females POV and I get turned off.

I love for people to give me ideas of future books to read.

Some of my potential next reads include : Tandem or Perfect Ruin (anyone read either of them and care to weigh on which I pick?).

Finally, I occasionally post things on the Booklikes blog section for anyone who wants to follow me. Here it is.

I would recommend Perfect Ruin, I didn't read Tandem but didn't hear great things from friends struggling through D: *waves* :D

I'm currently reading Falling Kingdoms by Morghan Rhodes, which is YA fantasy. I adore fantasy in all its many forms, including YA.

Welcome guys! Also - Oh no! I hope Tandems not too bad! :o it sounds really good. As soon as I finish all my homework I will jump on this stack of books I have.
