I've got enough to keep me busy here just now anyway. I think I'll just stick where I am until everything's been ironed out because I'm just getting wound up that it's not working for me.

Thanks for the response and update, Jmak. I'll give it another shot tomorrow.
can't get it to load :(
Book-lectic said she is able to get into Leafmarks this way. It also worked for me using Firefox, when clicking on Sign in didn't work.

"I was finally able to log in just now (the problem started last night) by putting my email and password in again and then hitting enter a couple of times instead of clicking."
Yeah, that's what I do, Sock Poppet. So far that has always worked.
I turned off my Chrome extensions, followed the instructions to remove it from remembered passwords (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95606?hl=en-GB), then closed my browser and deleted cache and cookies (deleting Leafmarks from the "keep" list). Opened a new Chrome window, typed everything in and then hit Enter a couple of times instead of the sign in button, like others have suggested, and it worked!
I've tried the 'enter' trick a few times but so far it's been unsuccessful for me. I've tried clearing my cache and deleting cookies...I've tried everything I can think of, still no joy :(

I'll be honest, I'm quite vexed that I can't get it to work for me and as someone else has already said 'beyond frustrated'. Seems like quite a lot are having difficulties with it, I wonder why it's not happening for some of us.
Meant to say, I do believe it's something to do with how my laptop is processing remembered passwords or saved login details though, as all browsers have exactly the same effect. After clearing everything it looks like it might be doing something (but then doesn't) but after that first try it goes back to just being a static login page.

Also, the couple of times I've managed to get in from a borrowed laptop I'm not seeing the little icon things (like for updating shelves or editing profiles, notifications etc). The links are there if I hover my pointer over them but they're invisible just by looking at the page.
Hi SilverThistle, It has been a bit challenging to fix this bug, because we downloaded all OS and Browsers to test, and still cannot reproduce. I do think there is something going on with saved passwords and browsers somehow auto-completing it with possibly another username and password that you use (possibly for other sites) that is incorrect. So I just had someone else try the following and it totally worked. Can you please try:

-- Close all your browsers. Re-open and go back to leafmarks. Even if the top right email and password are already filled in, try filling it in again, and click on the button or press enter.

We also created another sign in option, just in case above doesn't work, and to also allow people to sign-in in case they haven't yet but are looking at a book or a profile. So maybe you could try this too.

-- Click on any book on the shelf from the home page. If you are not logged in, you will see another sign in option on the top right. Try that one too.

About the mini-icons not showing up, it's on the list to look into and fix.

Hope this works!

Jacquie

Thank you Jacquie, something must have changed somewhere as when I loaded LM this time there was nothing already added in my sign in boxes and I managed to get in. Really slow to load pages and have all the sections populate but at least I'm in :)

Have only tried it in Firefox so far though.

Haven't really done much yet with it though as the missing icons and invisible links make it a bit hard to find stuff but it looks like my books are uploading. I'm about 300 short so I'll keep checking to make sure they make it across.

Thanks :)
