A big issue with our club is we could not find a solution to the big Goodreads debacle. There seemed to be no answer to the problem. But perhaps I have found it (If we haven't found it here on Booklikes already.)

I have been searching this brand new site, leafmarks, for a couple of days now.

Overall:
-looks like Goodreads
-feels like Goodreads
-smells like Goodreads

So if you like all the goodreads stuff without the censorship, then this may be the next big thing.

The big plus about this site is the importing and the library. It's very well done and its only been up for a couple of months. Very impressive.

However, it is still new, so it is a tad bare with the features. But it seems to be coming together. I have not encountered any bugs so far but I have heard many people have, so maybe I'm just lucky.

The one thing I'm not liking about it is that there is no fun blogging. You can't put up pictures or gifs or anything. It's purely book reviews, which is good from a purist perspective but if you're trying to promote a strong community, a kitten in a harry potter hat sure does go a long way.

Maybe they will add something like that in the future.

So overall, I'd say give it a shot, but don't leave booklikes. It's pretty nice over here as well.
